Climb Osorno Volcano: Guided Summit Ascent in Chile
Towering over the Los Lagos region, Osorno Volcano (2652m) is a characteristic conical stratovolcano widely considered one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world. This guided mountaineering program challenges you with a thrilling 1400m elevation gain. The volcano can be ascended almost all year round, and during the winter, its varied slopes offer ample skiable terrain.
Because of the significant elevation gain and strict safety time limits, we start the ascent very early. To ensure your safety and readiness, a mandatory pre-trip meeting is held the day before to evaluate your gear, clothing, weather conditions, and the limits of the activity

Cancellation policy
31+ days before departure: The 30% deposit is retained; any additional payments made will be fully refunded.
15-30 days before departure: 50% of the total expedition cost is non-refundable.
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total expedition cost is non-refundable.
Note: We highly recommend all participants purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers high-altitude mountaineering cancellations.
Reservation conditions
Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and guide.
Balance: The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the ascent. Bookings made within 7 days of the climb require full payment upfront.
Prerequisites: Your reservation is contingent on attending the mandatory pre-trip meeting the day before the climb to evaluate gear, footwear, clothing, and weather conditions.
Weather, Safety & Turn-Around Policy:
Prior to Departure: Mountaineering on Volcán Osorno is highly dependent on meteorological conditions, terrain stability, and visibility. If your guide cancels the expedition before it begins due to unsafe mountain conditions, you will be offered a chance to reschedule or receive a full refund.
During the Ascent: Safety is our ultimate priority. The ascent has a strict time limit (1:00 PM) to reach the summit. Furthermore, the guide reserves the right to terminate the ascent at any point based on changing weather, terrain hazards, or the physical and psychological condition of any participant.
If the group must turn around during the climb for any of these safety reasons, no refunds will be issued.
