Experience the wild heart of Patagonia with your certified wildlife guide, Fabián Briones.

The Puma (Puma concolor) is the apex predator of the Patagonian steppe: elusive, iconic, and absolutely magnificent. This exclusive tour takes you into their natural territory, guided by my deep respect for the ecosystem and years of tracking experience. My goal is to offer you one of the finest, most respectful opportunities to observe this big cat in its true wild state.

Important Notes and Tracking Ethics

Safety, conservation, and respect for the animal are our absolute top priorities.

  • Wild Animals: All pumas we search for are completely wild. Sightings are never guaranteed and can vary from easy to challenging depending on weather, terrain, and animal behavior.
  • Increase Your Odds: Booking more than one day greatly increases your chances of organic and memorable encounters that respect the puma’s natural rhythms.
  • Custom Pace: We adapt the search and pace to your interests, whether you’re a photographer seeking the perfect shot or a nature lover simply enjoying the scenery.
  • Strict Guidelines: We operate within authorized areas of Torres del Paine and follow safety and conservation guidelines at all times. Passengers are expected to respect these rules for their safety and for wildlife protection. If a puma leaves the observation area, we do not follow it.
  • Operational Standard: We operate under the high standards of Ginyard International Co.

 Duration and Requirements

  • Duration: Full-day tour (approx. 12 hours). We can do up to 4 days of tracking, for further questions please contact through the inquiries box message.
  • Departure: Typically between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on the season.
  • Recommendation: Dress in layers and prepare for the variable and extreme Patagonian weather conditions.

Ready to track? Join me, Fabián Briones, for a day in the territory of the patagonian Puma.

NOTE: The price of this tour adjusts by volume: the more people you book for (up to 3), the lower the individual cost will be. Get your group together and book!
