Detailed Expedition Itinerary

Our Osorno Volcano climb is structured to maximize safety and summit success through a strict “Turn-around Time” policy.

1. Pre-Climb Strategy (Day Before)

We meet for a mandatory gear and safety briefing. We evaluate your equipment, check the latest mountain weather forecasts, and discuss the technical glacier conditions.

2. The Ascent (Summit Day)

  • 04:30 AM | Pickup: Private transport from your accommodation in Puerto Varas.

  • 05:30 AM | Base Camp: Arrival at Refugio Teski (1,200m). Final gear check.

  • 05:45 AM | Trekking Start: We begin the ascent over volcanic scree and initial snowfields.

  • 09:00 AM | Glacier Transition: We equip technical gear (crampons, ropes, ice axes) as we enter the glaciated zone.

  • 01:00 PM | Summit Deadline: Our safety limit to reach the 2,652m peak.

  • 05:00 PM | Return: Descent to Refugio Teski and transport back to your hotel.
